This 15+ year old deck is located in Mill Creek, Washington. The first photo shows that the deck has a peeling problem and there are multiple layers of old oil and latex based paint. The deck was treated first with a mildewcide and then all the old paint was removed by sanding. A honey toned finish was applied to the benches and a semitransparent stain to the deck to match the house body color.
