The company was founded in 1991 by Pete, the oldest son of our family. At the time, it was known as ``Pete's Pressure Washing``.
In 1993, the father, John, joined Pete, and the company began specializing in Deck Refinishing and Restoration. In 1995, the company was officially and legally incorporated as Deck Refinishing LTD. Since then, its growth and coverage have been exponential, always maintaining a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to quality for our clients.
In 1996, the youngest son, Mynor, joined the company, and in 1998, Mike, Mynor's classmate, came aboard.
Over the years, the refinishing process has become much more sophisticated with the advent of advanced deck cleaners, sanding equipment, deck preservatives, and modern decking materials such as composite and Brazilian hardwoods like IPE.

WELCOME TO THE DECK REFINISHING SPECIALIST
Unprotected wood can be seriously damaged by the wet Northwest climate. In many cases untreated natural wood structures will last less than half their normal life due to increased vulnerability to mildew, algae, ultra violet light, etc. Fortunately there is a process that will restore beauty to your property and allow you to have many extra years of enjoyment. Our experienced professionals will clean and/or sand your deck as required to remove the old finish, moss, algae, dirt, and peeling paint. We will then apply a premium coating, a natural tone or solid coating of your choice for beautification and protection. All finishes guaranteed not to peel.

We had an approx 13×30 foot hardwood deck that had never been professionally
finished. A previous unprofessional sanding job left gouges and scrapes that looked awful.
