1. Introduction
Welcome to Deck Refinishing LTD. By accessing this website and using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Services & Estimates
We provide professional deck refinishing, staining, painting, and cleaning services. All estimates provided through this site or in person are non-binding estimates based on visual inspection. Final costs may vary if unforeseen structural issues or wood conditions are discovered during the process.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient project, the client agrees to:
- Provide access to water and electricity on-site.
- Remove all furniture, plants, and decor from the deck area prior to our arrival.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area during the project.
4. Limitation of Liability (Important)
Deck Refinishing LTD strives for perfection, but we work with natural materials exposed to the elements. Therefore:
- Wood Characteristics: We are not responsible for natural wood defects, including but not limited to splitting, warping, cracking, or texture variations. Wood is a natural material and may react differently to stains and sealers.
- Previous Coatings: We cannot guarantee the adhesion of new products over previously applied products by third parties that were not fully stripped or disclosed.
- Weather & Nature: We are not liable for delays or damage caused by weather conditions (rain, humidity, temperature), acts of God, or organic growth (mildew/algae) returning after cleaning.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be outlined in your specific project proposal. Generally, full payment is due upon completion of the work.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
